- ➤ The University of Idaho Department of Theatre Arts will stage Jean-Paul Sartre’s existential drama No Exit in December at the Shoup Hall Pocket Playhouse — the production opens with a preview performance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4 and spans two weekends with free tickets for students and public tickets ranging from $6 to $26 as seating is limited. - ➤ Inland Harmony Chorus will present its holiday concert A Time for Joy on December 8th at 1912 Center in Moscow with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show and donations accepted to help cover event costs. The chorus will also join downtown caroling on December 4th before the tree lighting and parade. Big Country News

- ➤ U.S. Highway 12 near Arrow Bridge will close at noon today for emergency rock scaling work by the Idaho Transportation Department to clear unstable hillside material, and crews will work nonstop until all loose rock is removed—motorists should use detours on U.S. 95, State Highway 3, State Highway 13, and State Highway 162 while expecting increased truck activity near Cherry Lane Bridge. - ➤ Pullman's fire department will conduct a live burn training exercise tomorrow from 7:00 a.m. until about 6:00 p.m.—firefighters will burn a small house next to the wastewater treatment plant on Guy Street while volunteer crews from Moscow and surrounding districts take part.
