- ➤ The University of Idaho Theatre Arts will present Pippin, a musical adventure with a score by Stephen Schwartz, starting Oct 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Hartung Theater (625 Stadium Drive, Moscow). Tickets will be free for students and range from $6 to $26 for the public. Big Country News

- ➤ Idaho drivers saw lower gasoline prices as the state’s average price dropped to $3.44 — two cents down from last week and nine cents down from last month, though it was three cents above last year’s mark.
