- ➤ The Idaho Transportation Department is inviting 6th to 12th grade classrooms to name a snowplow in a contest that requires a 15-character submission by October 31—aiming to promote safe winter driving. - ➤ Today, 121 Idaho mayors began the annual Mayor’s Walking Challenge organized by Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health to earn community grant funds by meeting daily step goals during October—mayors receive $500 for 165,000 steps or $1,000 for 310,000 steps.
