- ➤ University of Idaho and the Moscow Arts Commission will hold the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival poster reveal reception at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at Third Street Gallery in Moscow City Hall—attendees will see poster art by alum Cody Muir and learn the roster of world-class musicians for the 2026 event. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Whitman County Commissioners voted Monday to start the process for a federal grant to build a truck route south of Pullman that will remove about 250 trucks from downtown areas—Moscow City Council approved paying a consultant up to $13,500 while the county will contribute up to $31,500 for the grant application process.
