- ➤ Idaho Fish and Game extended the statewide closure on harvesting unclipped adult fall Chinook salmon through October 3 — warm water in the Columbia and Snake rivers slowed migration and reduced fish numbers. Anglers may still keep adipose-clipped salmon over 24 inches and jacks, with reopening possible if enough wild fish remain. Dailyfly
