- ➤ Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre celebrated its restored $200,000 historic marquee with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday, September 21 at 7:00 p.m. on Main Street in Moscow, and the project—featuring custom cabinets, LED backlighting and neon tubes matching the original design with support from the Idaho Heritage Trust, National Parks Service, M.J. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On September 19, 2025, P.E.O. Chapter AR in Lewiston awarded a $25,000 educational loan to University of Idaho law student Kristin Million, who ranked in the top 15 percent of her class and worked as a research and teaching assistant. Kristin will work in a Lewiston law office after finishing her degree in spring—underscoring how the ELF program supports women's education. Big Country News

- ➤ Firefighters are gaining ground on the White Pine Fire in North Latah County as containment reaches 54% while the 1,045 acre blaze, which started last month, continues and the national forest stays closed—USFS spent nearly $13 million on the effort. Pullman Radio
