- ➤ The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission will host the 16th Annual Palouse Plein Air Exhibition at Third Street Gallery inside Moscow City Hall starting September 18—seventy-one regional artists painted outdoors from September 8 to 16 and juror George Scribner will review their work before an awards reception on September 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. The show will remain on display until October 3. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City of Moscow set Tuesday, September 30 as the official end of this year’s outdoor irrigation season after reviewing local weather data, led by Public Works Director Tyler Palmer. Residents are told to water their lawns by hand after the season ends—automatic systems are not allowed. Big Country News
