- ➤ The City of Moscow is accepting nominations for the 2025 Ismat Ara and Abdul Mannan Sheikh Community Unity Award with submissions due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3. Nominees must submit a one-page explanation to the Moscow Human Rights Commission, and the award recipient will be announced in November—nominations are open to citizens who contribute to community unity and human rights. - ➤ The Port of Lewiston broke ground on a 92-mile broadband backbone that will bring high-speed internet from Moscow to Lewiston — the project will later extend fiber from Lewiston to Grangeville and is set to finish in spring.
