- ➤ Pullman artist Io Palmer will showcase her vibrant ceramic installation on the Fisher Pavilion wall at Seattle’s Bumbershoot festival this Labor Day weekend. Her work, made with hundreds of bold glazed clay pieces to honor untold journeys, is featured in a new Art by Northwest episode that releases today — marking a creative farewell to summer. Dailyfly
- ➤ The Idaho Museum of Natural History will bring its Mobile Museum to Latah County from September 2 to 4 to offer free displays of Idaho’s prehistoric past including a dinosaur skeleton, nests, skulls and interactive exhibits. The museum will visit multiple local sites — for example, Moscow Public Library on September 3 and Juliaetta City Hall on September 4 — with set times for each event. Pullman Radio
- ➤ Comedian Bill Douglass (a retired middle school and science teacher from New Hampshire) will perform his stand-up comedy at the Moscow Public Library on Tuesday, September 2 at 5:45 p.m. The free show is part of his mission to perform in all 50 states and is aimed at adults and older teenagers.
