- ➤ Traffic delays are expected on U.S. Highway 95 south of Moscow today as crews pour concrete for the new Thorn Creek Bridge—drivers may face delays of at least 20 minutes and should use an alternate route. Pullman Radio
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Chick-fil-A confirmed its expansion to a second Moscow location at Palouse Place and said the new restaurant—built on the former Sangria site—will employ up to 120 workers. Crews have begun demolishing the old building while the chain continues to operate a location in the University of Idaho student union. Dailyfly
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Shaun Claypool, a 31-year-old man arrested in Moscow on drug charges, pleaded guilty to felony drug possession this week at Latah County Second District Court and was sentenced to three years probation—to complete a drug court program and serve 100 hours of community service. Dailyfly

- ➤ The University of Idaho Theatre Arts Department announced its 2025-26 season featuring two musicals, two plays, and the annual First Bite New Play Series on stages in Moscow. The season opens with Pippin from Oct. 30 to Nov. 9 at the Hartung Theater—No Exit runs Dec. 4 to 14 at the Pocket Playhouse, Ride the Cyclone is set for Feb. 27 to March 8 at the Forge Theater, and Shakespeare’s A Comedy of Errors closes the season May 1 to 10; auditions will be held on Aug. 30 at the Hartung Theater.
