- ➤ Rayne Martinez and Martha Smith, who began their leadership at (Clearwater Valley), led student governments and helped present a joint resolution to Gov Little in support of Idaho LAUNCH while highlighting their Kooskia roots. Martinez now serves as president at Lewis-Clark State and Smith, a former University of Idaho leader now interning with the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, showed that early local experiences can guide future college leadership. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Idaho Land Board allocated over 117 million dollars to state agencies for the next fiscal year—17 million dollars of which will go to the University of Idaho, with 2.2 million dollars for agriculture and nearly 7.5 million dollars for science. Pullman Radio
