- ➤ The City of Moscow has closed Hordemann Pond at Kiwanis Park because water tests detected harmful blue-green algae—posing a risk to humans and animals and halting all recreational activities until the water is safe. Big Country News

- ➤ The repaving of US195 near Pullman will start Monday, August 11th from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. with crews working on nine miles of highway from State Route 27 to Babbitt Road using one open lane and causing up to 15-minute delays—guardrail work today will also slow traffic occasionally.
