- ➤ The Lewis-Clark Animal Shelter has launched its PAWSITIVE START Community Training Program, a four-week $100 course teaching commands like Sit and Down — local trainer V. Blair Voltz earned CPDT-KA certification in March and course funds will support the shelter’s behavior training program. The program offers additional private lessons based on availability. - ➤ After a gag order was lifted hours ago, Moscow police shared limited details about the University of Idaho murder case on November 13 that left four students fatally stabbed and said more information will be released before Bryan Kohberger’s sentencing on July 23—sealed documents will remain in effect. - ➤ Firefighters made progress on the Cherry Fire near Deary by reaching 10% containment on the 113-acre blaze burning in heavy logging slash within a state endowment timber sale and part of the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests — crews removed hazard trees, maintained road closures on Brush Creek Road, and enforced a two-mile temporary flight restriction under a Red Flag Warning as 191 personnel worked the incident.
