On July 8th the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust granted nearly $200,000 to the Moscow-based Palouse Land Trust, with $190,000 designated for new development staff to boost community connections—helping the nonprofit strengthen its local outreach.

The Idaho Transportation Department is seeking public comment on proposed highway projects for the next 7 years in Latah County.
The plans include constructing a southbound passing lane for US 95 near Freeze Road north of the Potlatch — improving the junction at US 95 and State Highway 6, extending passing lanes over Crooks Hill, and building a new SH8 bridge over Little Bear Creek in Troy.
