- ➤ University of Idaho will host the free outdoor Screen on the Green movie series beginning June 12th with 'Snail Hunters' on Theophilus Tower Lawn (between Line Street and Stadium Drive) and will show movies on Thursday evenings, except June 18th which will be on Wednesday to honor Juneteenth. Films will start around dusk (about 8:30 p.m.) with seating available from 7:30 p.m. and may be rescheduled if bad weather occurs. Dailyfly
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Michael Edwards, a 55-year-old WSU Associate Professor from Pullman, was arrested on a $1,000 cash bond for allegedly ramming a car three times on SE Terre View Drive north of the Moscow-Pullman Highway around 4:00 p.m. on Friday and made his first court appearance on Monday with one passenger suffering minor injuries. - ➤ The Appaloosa Horse Club in Moscow is moving to a temporary office on Asbury Street while there is no sign of where the museum will go. The club said they sold the Pullman Road building because a leaky roof needed about $350,000 in repairs — museum officials must leave by the end of the month with the final Appy Festival scheduled for Thursday. - ➤ Idaho gas prices have dropped slightly as summer travel begins, with AAA noting the average regular gasoline cost was $3.29 per gallon on June 9 — down 1.5 cents from last week and 35 cents less than a year ago. AAA said increased gasoline supplies and lower demand helped ease the prices, though rising travel may push costs higher soon. Dailyfly

- ➤ Starting June 30th and running through August, Moscow city offices will shift to a four-day schedule that closes them on Fridays and expands operating hours (7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) Monday through Thursday.
