A Pullman area man was sent to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on June 2 after he burned himself when cooking oil in a pan caught fire at a trailer court on Pullman Albion Road (around 12:30) and county deputies along with Fire District 12 responded even though he had already left by private vehicle (he spilled burning oil while moving the pan).

The Pullman and Moscow Rite Aid stores are set to close as part of a bankruptcy plan after a Friday court filing listed over 100 stores in 12 states—CVS will take over 64 Northwest locations, though no closure dates for the Moscow or Pullman outlets were given.
