- ➤ The American Legion Dudley Loomis Post No. 6 will host its annual Memorial Day ceremony on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Latah County Fairgrounds, where Judge Advocate Doug Whitney will speak and the Moscow High School Band will perform. Pullman Radio
- ➤ Palouse Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore in Moscow will host a 50% off sale Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Main Street, and proceeds will support affordable housing. Pullman Radio
- ➤ Qdoba Mexican Eats in Moscow will donate 25% of its sales on Monday, May 25 at 1970 W. Pullman Road to support Moscow High School Cheerleading. - ➤ The University of Idaho promoted Brooke Blevins of the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences to Interim Provost effective immediately — she replaces Torrey Lawrence, who is returning to the faculty, and UI has begun an internal search for an Interim EHHS Dean. Pullman Radio

- ➤ Independent U.S. Senate candidate Todd Achilles urged incumbent Sen. Jim Risch to join three statewide public debates before the general election on Nov. 3 — Achilles said these events would let voters see candidates answer tough questions and compare records while Risch’s campaign did not comment. - ➤ The Scoville Road bridge over Deep Creek northwest of Potlatch will be closed for two weeks starting Monday, May 25 as the North Latah County Highway District re-decks the span. Drivers must detour via West Freeze and Kennedy Ford Roads. Pullman Radio
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The annual hydroplane races will be held on Saturday and Sunday at Elk Creek Reservoir near town, with testing starting at 10:00 a.m. and racing beginning at 11:00 a.m.—admission is free as the Stateline Outboard Racing Association hosts the event. Pullman Radio
