The annual Lawson Gardens Plant Sale will be held Saturday, May 9 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Pullman where shoppers can browse a variety of flowers, vegetable starts and garden plants and must bring cash or check.

The Whitman County Humane Society launched its annual Kitten Shower fundraiser to support kittens arriving at its shelter this spring.
