- ➤ The Moscow Tree Commission will hold a free Arbor Day tree-planting event at Berman Creekside Park on Friday, April 25 from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. The commission will plant redbud and beech trees and give away free seedlings of bristlecone pine, Lewis syringa, and northern catalpa in partnership with Paradise Creek Regional High School and the Rotary Club of Moscow. - ➤ Idaho woman Coree Carver, founder of Grove Fruit Growers, signed contracts in November to sell her Southeast Asian mangos in the U.S., but her business now faces potential shutdown if new tariffs on Cambodian and Vietnamese products take effect after their July pause (tariffs of 49% and 46% respectively) as she said the blanket tariff would end her operation.
