CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Idaho Center on Disabilities and Human Development will host the 2025 artAbility Showcase on April 21 at the 1912 Center in Moscow from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The free event will celebrate works by local adults with disabilities who take part in artAbility workshops and offer light refreshments along with artwork and art cards for sale (the project has run for 11 years). GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Port of Whitman County approved an agreement with the Council on Aging and Human Services to fund COAST Transportation's fare-free bus loops connecting Colfax, Albion, Moscow and Pullman. The Port pledged up to $40,000—money needed to match a grant from the Washington State Department of Transportation—and COAST will use the funds to purchase two buses and launch two new routes running six days a week. - ➤ Candidates running for the Latah County Library Board will meet with voters Monday night at the Moscow Library—an event scheduled from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.—as voters prepare to decide the challenged races in the May 20th election. Pullman Radio

- ➤ Retired veterinarian Dr. Ken Baber had his 12-year-old dog Jessie treated at WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital where Dr. Boel Fransson (a skilled surgeon) performed a laparoscopic surgery to remove her rare adrenal tumor.
