- ➤ The Spring Craft Fair in Genesee (free to attend) will be held on April 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Genesee Public School Gym (local creators will sell handmade crafts, jewelry, clothing and other wares while vendors will offer coffee and food for purchase). Pullman Radio
- ➤ Residents can bring up to 8 paper bags of documents to the free shred day at the Latah County Fairgrounds in Moscow today between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.—only noncommercial materials will be shredded by DeVries Information Management under sponsorship from the City of Moscow and Latah County. - ➤ Tomorrow, Easter egg hunts will take place on the Palouse—families across Moscow and Pullman will join in the celebrations. In Pullman, Moscow and Pullman Building Supply hosts a free indoor egg hunt at 9:00 a.m. on April 19 for children age 12 and under while in Moscow the Central Lions Club organizes an outdoor hunt at East City Park at 10:00 a.m.—other events in Pullman include additional hunts later that day. - ➤ Data shows that Idaho's hotel numbers grew by 21.3% since 2019, adding 90 new hotels to reach 513 & boosting hotel employment by 3% with 297 new hires to total 10,241. The report reflects a strong rebound in travel after the pandemic & indicates that growth in the local hospitality industry is expected to continue. Big Country News

- ➤ A new ADMS training program is being developed by a partnership that includes the University of Idaho, Cleveland State University, University of Novi Sad, and POWER Engineers Inc to prepare students and professionals for future grid demands. Funded by a $500,000 grant from the POWER Foundation, the remote course will begin in spring 2026—curriculum work will continue through the end of this year. Dailyfly
