CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Moscow is accepting entries for its Storm Drain Mural program until 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 29; selected artists receive a $300 honorarium for murals displayed for up to four years at storm drain inlets, as submissions are open to artists from Latah, Nez Perce, Asotin and Whitman counties and tribal members. - ➤ The Pullman Depot Heritage Center is hosting its 5th Annual Vintage Quilt Show starting tomorrow, April 18, with vintage quilts shared by community members. It runs on four Saturdays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 330 N. Grand Ave, (Suite H), with a $5 donation suggested to support center events. Pullman Radio

- ➤ The University of Idaho has partnered with North Idaho College to create a new DEMSN program with applications opening fall 2026 and first classes set for fall 2027 (in Coeur d’Alene), while it begins designing a medical facility in Boise targeting a fall 2028 launch pending full funding. - ➤ Crews will begin the final stoplight upgrade project on Tuesday at the Moscow-Pullman Highway and Terre View Drive intersection—traffic will be reduced to one lane and Terre View Drive will be closed to Grimes Way until the work ends on April 29. Pullman Radio
