  • The National Association of Letter Carriers will hold its Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Residents can leave nonperishable food near their mailbox and letter carriers will collect it — supporting local food banks and pantries as summer demand grows.  Dailyfly

  • Today, the Moscow Arts Commission is hosting the 3rd Thursday Artwalk in downtown Moscow from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eleven local venues will showcase visual, culinary, literary and performing arts—admission is free.  Pullman Radio
  • A free musical tribute concert for folk music legend Dan Maher will take place tonight at the Unitarian Church in Moscow from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.—Maher, who hosted a public radio folk show for over 40 years and was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer, will be honored by eight acts as a GoFundMe page helps pay his medical bills.  Dailyfly
  • Today, the city and the Moscow Arts Commission will open 'Wild Light,' a photography exhibition featuring photos by six regional artists at the Third Street Gallery. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • University of Idaho's largest grant for sustainable agriculture practices was terminated this week after new USDA criteria required at least 65% of funds to pay farmers directly—this change ended nearly $59 million in funding from the IAMP project that had enrolled 201 producers from 27 counties. The university will resubmit a revised proposal by June 20 while ensuring eligible expenses incurred before April 13 are reimbursed.  Dailyfly
