EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Collegiate Reformed Fellowship student group is hosting a town hall tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the University of Idaho Administration Building Auditorium to discuss Christian Nationalism with panelists Pastor Doug Wilson (Christ Church), Pastor Toby Sumpter of King’s Cross Church, and Pastor Jared Longshore of New Saint Andrews College.  Pullman Radio
  • University of Idaho will host NPR correspondent David Folkenflik for the 14th Oppenheimer Ethics Symposium on Monday, Apr. 13 at 5 p.m. in the Menard Law Building courtroom in Moscow (the event is free and open to the public), where he will address media ethics and meet journalism students.  Dailyfly

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • A federal court order has increased the spring spill at the Four Lower Snake River Dams—spring spill began last week—to help young salmon and steelhead migrate. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers warns river users below the dams to watch for fast currents and high water levels.  Dailyfly

HEALTH NEWS

  • National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be held on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at several local sites such as the Genesee Food Center parking lot and Lewiston Police Department, offering residents a free, anonymous way to dispose of unused medications (DEA).  Dailyfly
  • All Gritman Medical Center clinics are operating normally with phone service restored after last week's systems outage & the investigation confirmed no breach of patient data. An outside forensic review is still underway and updates will be posted on gritman.org.  Pullman Radio
