- ➤ The Latah County Sheriff’s Office warned residents about scam texts that claim an outstanding toll balance and legal action and advised people not to click on links, adding that victims should call 208-882-2216 if they suspect they have been targeted. Pullman Radio
- ➤ Court documents show that on January 10th, 2022, Bryan Kohberger allegedly bought a black balaclava (face mask) months before four University of Idaho students were killed on November 13th and that he purchased a combat-style knife on Amazon eight months prior with DNA on a sheath later linked to him, while his trial for four counts of first-degree murder will begin on August 11th in Boise. - ➤ Moscow Police arrested 43-year-old Kenneth Indish on Lincoln Street on Wednesday night after he reportedly fired a shotgun in the air and threatened to kill his girlfriend — he returned with a shotgun and several knives and now faces charges of felony assault, firearm possession, and firing a weapon. - ➤ U.S. senators led by Jim Risch and Mike Crapo introduced a bill on March 27th in Washington to allow prisons to use cellphone jamming technology to block contraband phones. - ➤ The City of Moscow invites the public to attend a free fair housing workshop on Tuesday, April 8 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers room at Moscow City Hall (206 East Third Street) that will also be available online; the hybrid training will cover basics of the Fair Housing Act, including complaint procedures and examples of discriminatory conduct, and will be led by IFHC Education Director Peg Richards and IFHC Staff Attorney Monica Fabbi for consumers, housing providers, realtors, lenders and government officials.
