- ➤ Inland North Waste is hosting the ‘We Wag Back’ dog-friendly movie event at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre on March 29 at 2:00 pm—showing The Goofy Movie with proceeds benefiting the Humane Society of the Palouse. - ➤ The University of Idaho is preparing for the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival from April 15—18 on campus; it will feature over 400 student performances, a dozen world-class jazz artists, and nearly 100 clinics and special exhibits. - ➤ The University of Idaho will show the documentary 'Snail Hunters' during free screenings on April 2 at 7 p.m. in Idaho Falls and on April 26 at 4 p.m. in Moscow. - ➤ The Idaho Legislature widely approved House Bill 380 — a vote that allows the death penalty for adults who sexually abuse children 12 and younger — and sent it to Governor Brad Little, who has five days to decide whether to sign, let it become law, or veto it.
