- ➤ Yesterday, Latah County Commissioners extended an emergency disaster declaration for last weekend’s flood that set new records on Paradise Creek and the Potlatch River near Kendrick. Chair Tom Lamar said the declaration was issued last Friday + officials noted damage to the Latah Trail and levees. Dailyfly
- ➤ Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests were chosen to supply the 2026 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree, which will stand on the West Lawn this holiday season. The tree will travel on a whistlestop tour that includes ornament-making and forest education events in north-central Idaho before heading to Washington. Pullman Radio
