- ➤ The League of Women Voters Moscow is hosting a Speaker Series presentation on Wednesday, Mar. 4 at 12:00 p.m. in the Lecompte Room at the 1912 Center, where Brian Smith, Melissa Godfrey and Vanessa Thomas will discuss the Community Schools program that connects local schools with families, businesses and community partners. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Palouse Land Trust and Whitman Conservation District will host a riparian restoration work party at Fosberg Farm on Sunday, March 1 (10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) for up to 25 volunteers to harvest willow, cottonwood, and dogwood cuttings for streambank restoration. Volunteers must RSVP and wear clothes they don’t mind getting dirty. Pullman Radio
