- ➤ The University of Idaho and Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine at the University of Utah have agreed to develop a new medical education program in the Treasure Valley to train local residents. - ➤ State budget cuts approved on Feb. 6 will force the Idaho DEQ to reduce water quality monitoring, including harmful algal bloom detection, in fiscal year 2026 & eliminate vacant positions as current funding is already less than half of what it was 20 years ago. Big Country News

- ➤ Gritman Medical Center finished an 18 month upgrade to its Sterile Processing Department on Feb. 9, expanding surgical capacity with a new electrical room + advanced equipment in its older wing. The improvement supports broader efforts to deliver better care to Moscow patients. Pullman Radio
